1 Whbʾl Y[... ... of the family] 2 Yhʿn and Qrḍn, dedicated to 3 ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, the statue 4 in bronze in praise because He fulfilled 5 His servant Whbʾl, of the family Yhʿn 6 and Qrḍn, in all the favours he sought 7 from Him and so that ʾlmqh, 8 Lord of ʾwm, continues to fulfill His servant Whbʾl, 9 of the family Yhʿn and Qrḍn, in all the favours 10 he will continue to seek from Him, and because 11 ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm, saved and protected the person of 12 His servant Whbʾl, of the family Yhʿn and Qrḍn, 13 from the epidemic sickness and the pestilence and the fatal disease that took place in the 14 land in the first year of Ḥywm, son of ʾbkrb, of the family 15 Kbr Ḫll, and so that ʾlmqh, 16 Lord of ʾwm, continues to save the person of His servant 17 Whbʾl, of the family Yhʿn and Qrḍn, from any evil 18 and mischief and the malice and the maleficence of any enemy and 19 bad luck, and may ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm, 20 grant them the goodwill and the satisfaction of their lord Rbs²ms¹m Nmrn, 21 king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, and prosperity and good luck 22 that will satisfy them, and may ʾlmqh, 23 Lord of ʾwm, grant them good crops and harvests that will 24 satisfy them in all their lands and their valleys 25 and their irrigated fields in Mryb and Ns²qm and Rḥbtn. 26 By ʿṯtr and Hbs¹ and ʾlmqh and by ḏt 27 Ḥmym and by ḏt Bʿdnm and by the solar deity of the king, Tnf. |
