1 Ddʿhr son of Ḥyw of the family Ḫṭṭ, 2 priest of ʿṯtr ḏ-Rḥbh, qyn of 3 Wqhʾb and Yḏrḥmlk, dedicated 4 to ʿṯtr ḏ-Rḥbh ʾlkrb, 5 vicary (?) of the priest, by the command of Nbʿl 6 and ʿṯtr ḏ-Rḥbh and Mdhww 7 and ʾldll and ʿṯtr Ḥgr, 8 by Wqhʾb and Yḏrḥmlk 9 and Kamna and by Ḥyw, when he humbled 10 fourteen times. |
5 | Bron suggests for mwṯb the meaning "celui qui siège à la place de, vicaire". |
9-10 | For ḫḏʾ Bron suggests a comparison with ḫaḏaʾa "s'abaisser, s'humilier" with allusion to the penitential ceremonies. As for b-ʿs²rt-rbʿ, interpreted as a numeral, Bron notes that in the Sabaic ciphers, the units precede the tens. |
