Only ll. 2 and 6 are given in RES edition. |
2, 7 | ʿqb: according to Beeston 1973, it remains an open question whether the contrasting forms ʾʿqb and ʿqbt do or do not correspond to a plural-singular contrast, or rather could be interpreted as a phenomenon of phonetic spelling representing a pronunciation in which the ʾ has been reduced to zero. The same occurs in the preceding word Mḏnm which contrasts with Mʾḏnm. |
8 | rbnḥt: because of the similar sentence in Gl 1572 "kl mlʾ w-rbḥ", Schaffer 1972 assumes that the letter "n" should be expunged. |
