1The reading of the text is hypothetical. A sanctuary Rwẓn is attested in Ja 629, 46.
Schmidt 1987: 134 reads three separated texts; side 1: s¹ḥdṯ byt, side 2: Rwyn (or, Rʿyn) bn Hlkmtr, side 3: ʿmmʿly.

CULTURAL NOTES

The historical importance of the presence of a so ancient Minaic inscription in Mārib is worthy of being emphasized. See also the Sabaic inscription (Schm/Samsara 3) by a king of Maʿīn in the Mārib region.
