CULTURAL NOTES

The dedication is
executed in accordance with the oracular command of the gods ʿṯtr and ʿm and of the gods of the
temple Bnʾ. The reason for the dedication is very vague "and the gods of temple
Bnʾ might help their servant S²ʿrm in what has been and will be favourable to S²ʿrm".
