TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  [Rbm ʾḫṭr and Hʿn ʾs¹ʿd, members of (the clans)] Gdnm and (ḏ)-Ḥbtlm and Zbnr, the two sons of Brqm
   2  Yʿrr, descendant of Ḥbtlm and Zbnr,] have dedicated to their tutelary deity Hrn two horses and their two riders
   3  [from their booty from the city S²bw]t as they accompanied their lord S²ʿrm ʾwtr, king
   4  [of S¹bʾ and ḏ-Rydn, son of ʿlhn Nh]fn, king of S¹bʾ, when they waged war on Ḥḍrmt.

CULTURAL NOTES

ʿlhn Nhfn, king of Sabaʾ, and his son S²ʿrm ʾwtr, king of Sabaʾ and dhu Raydān, reigned at the end of the 2nd century-beginning of the 3rd century AD (cf. Avanzini 2016: 221).
