According to Frantsouzoff, the ḫ might be either the initial of the proper name of the building, if the text continued after the letter, or the cipher ḫ (5), even though it should have been written between the ciphers' symbols.

The translation of mḫtnn with "house, residence" is not appropriate to this context, where the building is erected for the god Taʾlab.
