1 ʾs¹dm ʾs¹ʿd, of the family Mhdmm and Qrḍn, mqtwy of ʾls²rḥ 2 Yḥḍb and his brother Yʾzl Byn, the two kings of Sabaʾ 3 and ḏu-Raydān, sons of Frʿm Ynhb king of Sabaʾ, dedicated to ʾlmqh 4 Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, three bulls and the statue in bronze, 5 in praise because his two lords returned in safety and with glory 6 from all the military expeditions and battles and the attacks which their two lords undertook 7 and fought and did with the tribes and the army of Ḥimyar, 8 and because He destroyed and inflicted harm to the enemy of them both, and in praise because ʾlmqh 9 Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, gratified His servant ʾs¹dm ʾs¹ʿd, of the family Mhdmm 10 and Qrḍn with the return in safety and with killings, prisoners of war 11 and booty, which satisfied him, from all the military expeditions and attacks in which 12 they followed their two lords, and in praise because ʾlmqh 13 satisfied him with all the favours he sought from Him, and might ʾlmqh continue 14 to grant favour and to bestow on His servant ʾs¹dm prosperity and safety and 15 good luck, and the goodwill and the satisfaction of their two lords ʾls²rḥ Yḥḍb 16 and his brother Yʾzl Byn, the two kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, and might He grant 17 to him perfect and healthy fruit crops and harvests, and might ʾlmqh deliver him 18 from evil, distress, harm, calumny and the malice of any 19 enemy; by ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm. |
