Textual typology | Dedicatory text - fragmentary |
1 | Agostini does not exclude the presence of a line over l.1. Between the two letters ḏ, it seems that a letter m can be read. If the first ḏ introduces a name of group, a possible resotration would be: ḏ-Mḏb. |
2 | ʾlht[n] (Agostini), but the final n is only a possible integration (besides ʾlht[-s¹], ʾlht[-s¹m]). It is not clear how many letters are lost at the beginning and at the end of the lines. |
3 | it in uncertain whether there are a word divider and some more letters after the last word. |
4 | kḥnn ḏ-qynn: Agostini suggests the comparison with Hebrew kḥ "power", but he does not exclude the hypothesis of proper name. |

7 | Agostini notes that the root NSḪ is used in Arabic with the meaning of "to cancel, abolish". |

Notes | "The stone was found close to the external side of the northern wall of the Nkrḥ temple [...] This temple is therefore the most probable place of origin for this piece, even if there is still a possiblity that it could have come from somewhere else within the sacral area, which also includes the temple of ʿAthtar dhū-Qabḍ and, probably, a temple dedicated to Wadd" (Agostini 2012: 6). |
