TRANSLATIONS

English

  This is about Mbs²mt
of Ḫldt (of the family) Ḥḏ‒
mrn; may (the god) be merciful, because
  Mbs²mt committed a sin
with regards to her Lord ʾrnydʿ the
  Patron, because she got (?)
an illness (?) in the middle of the upper-chamber
following the death of a child [... ...]
  (?)
the upper-chamber and they came back and they
  overthrew (?) the illness (?) and [... ...]
and he placed it (for) their Lord
the Patron and may He continue, the Patron,
(to grant) favours for the safety
of the person of His servant M[bs²m]‒
t and [... ...] all the dedication of statue
  in bronze for their safety.
The translation of the inscriptions is rather problematic and remains hypothetical, due to the uncertain meaning of some words and to the plurality of subjects involved in the text.
