1 ʿkm ʾrym, son of Lḥyn and S¹wny, mqtwy of S²mr Yhrʿs², king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, son of Ys¹rm Yhnʿm, king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, dedicated to ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, the statue in bronze as he had promised Him and in praise because He gratified His servant ʿkm of an oracular dream and of the vision that He granted His servant ʿkm; 2 they praised the might and the power of ʾlmqh because He satisfied him in all the favours he sought from Him and may He continue to satisfy and fulfil His servant ʿkm in all the favours he will seek from Him and may He grant him the goodwill and the satisfaction of their lord S²mr Yhrʿs², king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, son of Ys¹rm Yhnʿm, king of Sabaʾ and ḏu Raydān, 3 and may He protect and save His servant ʿkm from the harm and the malice and the calumny and the calamity of any enemy and may He grant him harvests and good crops. By ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm. |
