1 | Different interpretations have been put forward for the word zltn. Pirenne hypothetically suggests "cette descente dallée". Beeston prefers to identify the object of the dedication with the very support of the text and proposes "tablet, plaque". Jamme compares zlt to Arabic zillat "polished stone": according to him, this stone was placed in the circular cavity of the plaque. ZLL "to slip". |
