Notes on support and decorations | On the recessed field a seated female figure, wearing a short-sleeved pleated tunic covering completely the legs and showing only the feet, which wear shoes. The woman has her left arm raised; while the right one hangs down and with the hand she is clasping a bundle of wheat or millet (cf. Schulz and Foster 2008: 113). Short hair represented like the pleated dress. Stool, with crossed legs, covered by a pleated cushion, which recalls the pleated dress. Two holes pierced alongside the shoulders of the figure. Low relief. |
