Notes on support and decorationsThis bust of man is set over an inscribed base, with a row of triangles below the inscription. The human sculpture is roughly worked on the back. The front face shows a naked man with flat chest and the arms marked by a simple incised and curved line. The head, ending at the hairline, is flat on the top; it was probably finished with stucco hair. The facial features are well characterized, with large empty eyes (originally inlaid), straight and large nose, small straight mouth. The beard, moustache and tuft of hair on the chin are realized by incised dots.
