SUPPORT INFORMATION

MaterialAlabaster
Measuresw. 9.8, w. 8, th. 11
Notes on support and decorationsFragment from the upper part of a stone block inscribed on the polished face. On the top are traces of a shallow cutting, the bottom of which is roughly chiseled. For these reasons Cleveland thought that the stone may have been the base for a rather large bronze statue.
