Notes on support and decorations | Dark veined grey marble stamp seal drilled longitudinally, with slightly conical back and an oval engraved face. The representation is divided into three registers: in the upper register a contest scene with a naked man in profile left between two inward facing ostriches; in the second one two addorsed horned animals with massive body and lyrate horns (probably bulls); in the lower register two addorsed rampant ibexes with head reversed, between which a five branched tree. |
