Notes on support and decorations | Fragment of capital, decorated in low relief. The decoration consists in two superimposed recessed panels, separated by a flat fillet with the wave pattern. The bottom panel contains the vine scroll motif, while the top one preserves the posterior part of a rampant winged animal with lion paws, probably a griffin. The head is lost. |
