Notes on support and decorations"A group of plants and folliage seeming to grow in a shallow bowl, with stems bearing leaves and buds that trail over on each side. On each half of the bowl, between the major plant-bowl motifs, are 6 whorls or 'cartouche' of foliage, each enclosing within circling stems. In each case, the 6 whorls are divided into two lots of three, by a central tall plant having a vertical stem and bud, with pairs of side-leaves." (Kitchen 2009: 245).
