Notes on support and decorations | Small recumbent bull placed on a flat, rectangular and stepped base. The body's animal is small in comparison with the head. The frontal muzzle is well characterized with short horns (with rings at their base), tuft of hair between the horns, large and lateral eyes with wrinkles around. The bull wears a double collar with bell. The tail curves round on the right hind back. On the reverse there are more than hundred points, which suggests that the object was used as a scraper. Legrain (1934a and 1934b) interprets the object as an instrument for toilet. A suspension ring is placed at the base end (Cf. BM 135898). |
