Notes on support and decorations | This small head, for its size and structure (short neck), is certainly detached from a statuette. The head is softly and carefully modelled, especially in correspondence with the mouth and chin. The ears are very large, the almond-shaped eyes and eyebrows are incised (and probably finished with painting), the nose is splintered. The head top appears roughly carved and probably was finished with stucco. |
