Notes on support and decorations | Fragment of alabaster stela with framework preserved for one of the lateral sides. It's made of a series of ibexes (two preserved), in frontal position and standing on a slightly projecting base. Big curved horns defined with horizontal grooves and prominent globular eyes. Below the inscription, quite completely missed, row of six hands (probably symbols) with small circles incised on the palm. Presence of a monogram with letters m and ṯ (ʿmyṯʿ, according to Arbach). High relief and incision. Note: for comparisons see the Nashshan thrones (Garbini-Francaviglia 1-2-3) and YM 23250. |

Notes | According to the editors, the text comes from Nashshān, on the basis of the divine epithet they restore (Grb). However, this reading is very uncertain and it is possible that the text originated from Kamna (see the textual remark on the reading Ḥgr). |
