Notes on support and decorationsRectangular small tray supported by two lateral squared and rough legs. The upper surface shows a very original and fine decoration: in the centre a squared element with central knob (recalling a lid) is placed between two lateral very light cavities; the lanceolate extremities are decorated with a rosette. The object appears too small to be ans altar, while the two cavities may suggest that it was used as an incense burner (for this interpretation, see also Legrain 1934 b).
