Notes on support and decorations | Typical beehive-shaped vessel as classified by J. Hassel. The vessel has unperforated handles representing an animal head. Surface polished. The rim (which is chipped) and the the interior of the vessel are blackened, and the latter probably has residuals of kohl (cf. Hassel 1997: 258). |
