CULTURAL NOTES

This object, which belongs to the typology of the statuettes with "pillar-shaped legs" (Antonini 2001: 36), has a close parallel with another piece in the collection of the National Museum of Aden, RES 3902 n. 105. Only the face, oval-shaped, is slightly different.
