Notes on support and decorations | Alabaster human head, broken in correspondence of the neck, which shows the shoulder’s beginning. This head belonged to a statuette, probably of a man. The head is flat on the top, and the hairs are not depicted. The regular face have lozenge-shaped eyes with drilled pupils (probably originally with inlays) and arched eyebrows, prominent nose and small mouth, slightly smiling; the ears are very large. The back is flat and roughly carved. |
