Notes on support and decorations | The inscription is carved into an oblong slab of local white marble. It bears four lines of a much longer inscription. One face of the slab had been polished, as with ordinary crustae. A vertical line was scribed along its right side, with the inscription to the left. The reverse was only roughly dressed and pinning holes had been drilled at the top and bottom edges for affixing the slab to the temple wall. The slab was fractured along its left side as a result of which the remainder of each line was lost. |
