Notes on support and decorations | This alabaster human head, which belonged to a male statuette, is broken at the neck and damaged on the top. The face and chin are rounded and chubby; the beard and moustache are realized with dense and blackened dots; the large eyes without pupils are oval with deeply incised eyebrows; the regular nose is prominent and the small mouth is fleshy. The ears are very large and the hairs are not depicted. The back is well modelled. |
