Notes on support and decorations | This alabaster jar has a globular body, symmetrically narrowing at the base, and a rim with a single projecting handle probably in the shape of a lion's head. The rim is slightly everted and flat on the top. The decoration consists in groups of incised lines in chevron motif. |
