Notes on support and decorations | Alabaster human head with remains of the right shoulder. This head, certainly belonging to a statuette, probably represents a bald man, with a rounded and chubby face and chin and neck almost undistinguishable. The large eyes have drilled pupils (probably originally with inlays) and arched eyebrows; the chipped nose is regular, the small mouth is very expressive; the ears are very large and the left one is drilled. The back is flat and roughly worked. |
