Notes on support and decorationsHigh relief male face carved in a yellowish alabaster, with consistent orange veining. The face ends at the hairline and shows a large and flat forehead, slightly incised arched eyebrows, incised almond-shaped eyes, with drilled pupils, straight nose and small mouth. The cheeks are rather flat with a sizeable curtain beard, which ends at the ears. An incised line between nose and mouth probably indicates the moustache. The eyes were finished with inlays inside the pupils.
Its placing inside a stone niche is a modern arrangement.
