Notes on support and decorations | Statuette composed by two alabaster elements joined at the waist; the right hand is missing and the hole in the arm indicates that the hands were separately made. Nude bust with pointed pectoral muscles. Large triangular head with wavy hair, large and hollow eyes (with remains of the inlay), pierced ears, long nose and thin mouth. Antonini (2001: 91-92) describes the statuette as a woman representation. |
