Notes | The provenance from Petra is reported by G. Ryckmans (Ryckmans, Gonzague 1927: 186): "découvert à Petra dans un ravinement après une pluie violente qui mit à découvert des statuettes et sceaux égyptiens, babyloniens et sud-arabes". However, The British Museum's online catalogue reports: "Excavated/Findspot Bihan ed-Daula, 'Found in a cloud-burst outside Aden' according to register but collection reported to Trustees as being from 'Bihan ed-Daula, 120 miles N. of Aden'". |
