Notes on support and decorations | Head of female with deeply carved eyes for inlay and a well rounded face. The nose is damaged, the mouth is small, the ears are semi circular and concave with no incised detail. The flat face is not accurately modelled. There is one remaining triangular projection on the side of the face, which would have originally been covered in plaster to represent hair. |
