Notes on support and decorations | Alabaster head of undetermined gender. The head has a thick neck and a short forehead. The facial features are summarily sketched: the eyes (originally painted) are not indicated; the long rectangular nose is flat, the small mouth is slightly in relief. The forehead ends at the hairline. Its placing inside a stone niche is a modern arrangement. |
