| 1 | It seems completely unlikely that the inscription begins with line 1 for various reasons: instead of the main verb there is a subordinate phrase, the author of the inscription appears on line 4. Another element, although not decisive, is that up to now the inscriptions dedicated by a tribe are construction inscriptions and not dedicatory inscriptions. |

(the oracle of) the god and he offered 3 and again it was given and dedicated by him; may Ḥwkm 4 give assurance of the safety of Ys²h and his brothers and 5 their sons and their houses and all his properties. Ys²f 6 committed to Ḥwkm and His gods the dedication. |
