CULTURAL NOTES
The author of the text dedicates to ʾlmqh the spoils that he obtained when he participated in the campaign against Nashshān with the king Krbʾl Wtr, recorded in the text RES 3945. Note that the verb s¹tmly appears in both the inscriptions. The father of the dedicant is evoked at the end of the text, in coordination with the name of Krbʾl: he was probably in charge of a public or military office.
