NotesRobin assumed a provenance of this inscription from wādī Marḫa for the presence of the gods Bs²mm and Wdm. For him, the text could prove a domination of Sabaʾ over Awsān after Karibʾīl Watār (RES 3945/4-13). However, this is quite improbable, since in this archaic phase Wdm is not an Awsanite god (the national god is in fact Blw); moreover, both Bs²mm and Wdm are attested in the Jawf in this period and the inscription could come therefore from that region.
