| 1 | As the verb hqny should be in the dual (as usual without ending -y in Early Sabaic), bny might be a scribal mistake for bn (also without ending -y in Early Sabaic). For an alternative interpretation see Prioletta et al. 2021: 333. |

| 2 | "Usually, and as for Bari 2021-1, the title of ʿbd, ‘servant’, refers to the author of the text. This would imply that, contrary to bny, the word ʿbd preserved the ending of the nominative dual (/ʿabdā/). However, in view of the high status of the subjects’ father, Yuhaythaʿ, it could well be that ʿbd in fact refers to him and is thus in the nominative singular" (Prioletta et al. 2021: 333). |
