CULTURAL NOTES

Ll. 8-9. This text contains one of the three known instances of a celebration of an author’s brotherhood (ʾḫwt) with a king of Maʿīn, i.e. – presumably – with his own king. Cf. Maʿīn 112 and Maʿīn 39 (Rossi 2022: 315).

Ll. 8-9. King ʾbydʿ authored the inscription Maʿīn 102, in which his entire name is provided: ʾbydʿ Yfs² son of Nbṭʾl (Rossi 2022: 314).
