GENERAL NOTES
| Robin-Maʿīn 4 and 5 are written on two adjacent sides of the same pillar. L. 5 of Robin-Maʿīn 5 goes back to period A based on palaeography. Ll. 2–4, engraved above in smaller characters, are not recognised by Robin as an early text; however, the closed shape of letter M and the absence of the verb s¹krb leave the possibility open that this text might be dated to the 7th/ 6th c. BCE. L. 1, written in big characters like l. 5, may also date to period A. |
