French

   1  Yadaʿʾil Bayyin, roi de Ḥaḍramawt, fils de Rabšams, des hommes libres de Yuhabʾir, a accompli
   2  le rite de la chasse dans le wadi ʿIrma. Ils ont chassé durant vingt jours et tué quatre panthères et
   3  deux lynx (leopards) et six cents ibex. Il y avait avec lui, de ses fonctionnaires: WBŠM et MLKN et ḤF et [D]-
   4  DʾL et ŠRḤBʾL et ... et MRDM et ḤLLT et FLLM et WHB[M] et ṮWR-
   5  M et YṮQ et GMN et ... [et] ḤBŠY et ṢLḤM et SʿDM. Et de tous ses serviteurs

CULTURAL NOTES

The presence of the verb mtll, known in al-ʿUqla texts, could be a proof that the hunt of the king is a sacred hunt.
