TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Ydʿʾl Byn, king of Ḥaḍramawt, son of Rbs²ms¹, of the noblemen Yhbʾr, he who renewed and dug the city of Shabwa
   2  and constructed the palace S²qr, performed the rite at the fortress, when they slaughtered with the hunt and killed thirty-five oxen,
   3  eighty-two camels, twenty-five gazelles and eight leopards, at the fortress of ʾnwdm.

   1  Ydʿʾl Byn, king of Ḥaḍramawt, son of Rbs²ms¹, of the freemen of Yhbʾr, he who transformed and altered the city of Shabwa
   2  and had rebuilt in stone the temple, put a roof [and] a pavement in the fortress when they [the temple and the fortress] had broken down because of a collapse, and they killed thirty-five bovines
   3  and eighty-two young camels and twenty-five gazelles and eight cheetahs at the fortress ʾnwdm.
