1 S¹ʿds²ms¹ ḏ-Ḥbm son of ʿlym put four goblets, by the power of his lord Ydʿʾl king of Ḥaḍramawt, as furniture of his two palaces S²bʿn and Yġl. |
| The word ʾṣḥlm "s'explique aisément par le guèze ṣāḥl, « plat, bol », mh. ṣeḥlīt « bassin ». Ces mots sont apprentés, avec métathèse, à l'hébreu ṣallaḥat, syr. ṣelūḥītā, « plat », et, avec alternance l-n, à l'arabe ṣaḥn, « cuvette, grande coupe »" (Bron).
