| 2-3 | Nebes, following Multhoff's suggestion, proposes to read b-nḫy. The phrase would correspond to that found in Early Sabaic inscriptions from Ethiopia (e.g. DAI ʿAddi ʾAkawəḥ 2008-1). |

1 Fṭnm son of Lḥʿm dedicated to ḏt-Ḥmym the covering slab, 2 by which ḏt-Ḥmym was pleased by him, 3 through the mouth of ʾlrʿd (by means of ʾlrʿd); and may it be far from Fṭnm 4 that he lives with a woman, and (i.e.: because) he lived with his 5 wife, and she is the priestess in the temple, the temple of ḏt 6 Ḥmym ḏt Rhbn; and Fṭnm placed under the will of 7 ḏt-Ḥmym his life, his faculties and his offering, as 8 offering for Her which is favourable. |
