1 S²ʿrwd son of Yḥmʾl dedica- 2 ted to S¹yn ḏ-Myfʿn the inscrip- 3 tion which He had ordered him, under the authority of S¹y- 4 n ḏ-ʾlm and of the power of ʾlfm, and (he dedicated) a sta- 5 tue, according to the oracle of relief (= the favourable oracle), in order that S²ʿrwd 6 would promise them (the inscription and the statue) to S¹yn ḏ-Myfʿn, 7 in order to [re]cover from the illness he fell in, the ... 8 [... ...] 9 [... ... ] and he earned the good-will of S¹- 10 yn [... ...]; and S²ʿrwd 11 placed under the will of S¹yn his life, 12 and his faculties and his children, and 13 S¹yn rewarded him with His reward which is favourable. |
