GENERAL NOTES

This is one of the few Lates Sabaic texts not in relief. The use of the symbol is not an adequate reason to date the text at the time of S²rḥbʾl Yʿfr (latter part of the fifth c. AD), as Beeston suggests. Doe had dated the text at the fourth c.
