TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  [ʾ]nʿm ʾbrr ḏ-Ṣrf banū S²ddyn
   2  built and completed their house ḏ-ʾ-
   3  s¹wr with the assistance of Rḥmnn and
   4  the care should be comprehensive. May
   5  Rḥmnn listen to them, all his Greatness, and to their
   6  brothers, the protected. The month of M-
   7  bkrn, the year six hundred twenty-nine.
4"et l'approbation générale" (Robin). Beeston 1988: 23 prefers: "and with praise in ample measure to him" considering the the terms as a relative clause instead of two nouns in construct state.
5w-kl bhṯhw Müller: v. pl. "friendly receive".
6ʾlt mẓrn translated as "qui sont favorisés" (Robin).
