   1  Mḫṭrn ʾs¹ʾr he of Mʿhr and ḏ-Ḫwln qyl of
   2  Rdmn and Ḫwln son of Mʿdkrb Yhmgd qyl of
   3  Rdmn and Ḫwln cut, constructed and completed his reservoir
   4  Tʿwd in order to protect the cistern through the help of
   5  ʿm and the power of his tribe Ḫwln.

CULTURAL NOTES

Mḫṭrn ʾs¹ʿr is the qayl of Radmān, father of Wtrm Yrtʿ, and is set at the last quarter of the first century AD (see MAFRAY-ḏī-Ḥadīd 1, Robin 1991: 180-182).
