1 Ḫlkrb Ṣdq bn ʾbydʿ mlk Mʿn bny w-s¹ḥdṯ Rṣfm byt ʿṯtr ḏ-Qbḍm w-rṯd bytn R—
2 ṣfm ʿṯtr S²rqn w-kl ʾlʾlt ʾs²ʿbm ḏ-ʾlm w-s²ymm w-ḥblm w-ḥmrm bn ḏ-ys¹nkr-s¹ w-bn ḏ-y—
3 s¹bʾ-s¹ w-bn ḏ-yḫrg w-bn ḏ-yʿtkr b-bytn Rṣfm b-ḍrm w-s¹lmm ywmy ʾrḍm w-s¹mhm

1 Ḫlkrb Ṣdq son of ʾbydʿ king of Maʿīn built and founded Rṣfm, the temple of ʿṯtr ḏ-Qbḍm, and he committed the temple R- 2 ṣfm to ʿṯtr S²rqn and all the gods of the communities of the god, the Patron, the territory and the population, against anyone who may damage it, who may 3 destroy it, who may cause any injury or any harm in the temple Rṣfm, in time of war and of peace, for the duration of the earth and of the sky. |
| 2 | The translation of the formulaic expression "ḥblm w-ḥmrm" follows here the one proposed by Bron 1998 a on the base of Garbini 1985: 313-316, and not the traditional one "the pact and the alliance". |
