[... ...] 1 ... the tribe Ḥšdm in the city [..]ḍ in (the territory of) the tribe 2 Ḥimyar and he led 200 men and they made a raid 3 into the land of Ḥimyar, where he killed one man; and because 4 he led 150 men into Mrdm 5 in the land of ʾlhn, where he captured two men and because 6 they made an expedition, fifty men in the region of Dlg, where he killed 7 one man and because they made an expedition against the Ḥbs²t in the region of [... ...], 8 where he killed one man and because he led and auxiliary column 9 of Arabs, 110 men, and they made an expedition against 10 Brqn, where he killed one man, and because his lords of the banu Hmdn 11 hired out to him their horses [... ...] 12 so he killed two chieftains and all [... ...] 13 the one on which ʾbkrb Yhs¹kr declared the defeat 14 of ḏ-Ḫṭlm; and because Tʾlb granted him 15 to beget many male children; and may Tʾlb 16 continue to grant him the favour and the satisfaction of their lords the banu Hmdn 17 and their tribe Ḥs²dm, and good crops in their 18 fields and their land; and may Tʾlb save them 19 from the harm and the malice of the enemies; by Tʾlb Rymm 20 Lord of Rḥbn. |
